The professional journey of Christian De Nardi bagan in the Jura, near Saint-Claude, where he learnt the cabinetmaker's and wood turner's craft.
His love for beautiful articles led him in 1981 to Thiers, in Paul Morand's workshop, where he discovered the art of fashioning handles with the most natural materials, exotic wood, horn, elephant ivory, etc...
It is at the Maison des Couteliers that he developed these talents for manual work by creating very beautiful pieces of table cutlery, alongside Angel Navarro ( National Award winner in crafts in 1982) and Virgilio Munoz ( One of the Best Craftsmen of France).
In 1986, he presented a master piece consisting of 12 pieces in a subtle alchemy of Goldsmith's art and Marquetry and received the envied title of One of the Best Craftsmen of France.
In 1990, he received the title of Master Craftsman in Cutlery, participated in the launch of the CAP cutlery training at the vocational school of Thiers.
He became a member of the French Association for the Jean Troisgros de Roanne Table Arts where he sat on the board of directors.
He took part in 1992 in the Roanne National Trophy for Table Arts, and was the Table Cutlery partner "Route des Amériques" presented by the Chamber of Handicrafts of Puy du Dôme for the Auvergne region.
The latter received the first national prize.
In 1993, he was associated with the opening of the restaurant "La Ferme des Trois Canards" at Peschadoires.
After a year in business, this restaurant obtained a Toque and 13/20 at Gault-Millau.
In 1994, he received the first prize in the Industry category of the Challenge Initiative Innovation, organised by the Conseil général du Puy de Dôme, for the patent of a hafting system for knives and flatware for catering.
Nowadays, in his workshop since 1995 in the Thiernoise Region, at Peschadoires, Christian De Nardi manufactures Flat ware for famous publishers.
