General Terms of Sale

Article 1

The current contract concerning goods has been concluded between our company registered in France and a consumer (person acting outside his professional activity) within the framework of a system for online sales.

The resellers/distributors benefit from other terms of sale. These terms are available on request. Contact us.

Applicable law:

The parties agree that this contract is subjected to French law. In case of dispute, only the Tribunal of Clermont-Ferrand (Puy de Dôme) is of competent juridiction.

Article 3

Essential characteristics of goods and services offered for sale:

Goods concerned: Cutlery items, flatware, table art items, loose cutlery pieces and materials, additional items (table decoration, fancy jewellery).

IMPORTANT: The items listed on our website have been carefully selected to give you an accurate idea of what we are capable of providing. However, the photos are not contractual. The materials which we work on are often natural and it is not possible to guarantee that  piece of wood or a horn - for example - will be of exactly the same colour and size as those viewed on the screen. Similarly, our table decorations and fancy jewellery being items that have been entirely hand-made, it is not possible to provide you with an exact replica of what you see on the screen.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any specific request.

Article 4

To order:

You simply need to send us you order by mail, fax or email (by indicating the item number, cost and desired quantities; remember to add the postal charges).

Article 5

Payment for your order

Only payment in Euros will be accepted.

- Either by cheque issued on a French bank, which must be sent to us by mail along with your order form.

-Or by bank transfer at your expense and in Euros in favour of our bank account.

-Or by credit card.

Article 6

Rate:

Our prices are listed in Euros; postal and packaging charges are extra.

For shipments to the European Union, our prices include 19,6% VAT.

For all other destination; contact us.

Delivery:

We will not ship any orders that are not fully paid for.

Article 7

Shipping time:

1 to 4 weeks in general, except for Art knives, customized knives, etc...

These times are given only for information; even in case of a delay in delivery - either due to manufacture or transportation - these may not be cited to cancel an order.

Please contact us before placing an order to know the exact shipping time.

Article 9

We ship to the European Union. For other destinations, it is mandatory to contact us before placing any order.

Important: It is the customer's responsibility to make inquiries about regulations in force in the destination country concerning the customs documents to be submitted, and the import of products ordered (types of knives, as well mentioned here, the goods do not reach the recipient. We consider, then, having fulfilled our obligations: the amount received as part of the order will not be refunded by us.  

Article 10

Transportation

To Metropolitan France, all our parcels are sent by the French postal service via registered colissimo expert with insurance of goods shipped.

To the rest of the European Union, our parcels are sent by post via colissimo international with insurance of goods.

Any other additional requirements will be invoiced.

Invoice

One invoice is inserted in each parcel.

Any other document required by the customer may be, at our discretion, the subject of an extra charge in the invoice. Contact us beforehand.

In case of loss or theft during transportation

The goods will be reshipped by us as soon we received a confirmation from the competent postal department that the goods have been declared definitively lost or damaged.

Packaging and postal charges

The packaging and postal charges include only one address per order in the destination country.

Article 11

Revocation:

The period is seven working days from the date of receipt by the consumer.

In case the revocation right has been exercised, we will refund the amount paid if and when the product delivered is returned to us in perfect condition, without having been used and in its original packing, postage paid.

Items that have been specifically customised, on the customer's request will not be taken back or exchanged. 

Article 12

Guarantee:

Cutlery and table flatware: 2 years.

The attention we pay to our workmanship allows us to offer you a guarantee against any manufacturing defect. This guarantee does not include wearing parts and is applicable to normal use: A knife must be used only for cutting. Any other use (screwdriver, chisel, can-opener, etc.) will be considerer improper. The guarantee is applicable as soon as the product leaves the workshop: as a result, the return expenses of goods and the inherent risks (loss, theft, breakage) are always payable by the customers. We do not accept delivery upon payment, postage due or with any fees that need to be paid. It is in your interest to contact us BEFORE returning anything.
