TECHNICAL NOTICE

In all the collections, MANTIS® included, the blades and the top parts of our spoons and forks are made of stainless steel and forged in the area of Thiers.

In the TOSCANE, ECAILLE, PAVOT and COLETTE collections, the handles are of nickel silver, an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc. The ferrules get a silver deposit of 20 microns and an old patina finish. According to the official regulation our articles are of "métal argenté" and a square mark is stamped on the handle (quality II).

In the COMPAGNIE DES INDES collection, the handles are of scratch-brushed aluminium, the ferrules and caps of chromed nickel silver. In all our collections the assembling is made by hand and we use a specific cement which guarantees the lasting quality of our flatware, if "normally" used in the dishwasher.

The MANTIS® handles are injected with a polymer and the caps are realized in a special tin fit for food. The "papattes" (holders) are realized in chromiumplated steel wire.
